MC relocated to the Santa Cruz mountains in 2005.  Having made that transition, she can explain exactly what it’s like to move and live here.   Consequently, a lot of her business is helping people relocate.

While she specializes in selling rural Santa Cruz mountain homes, acreage and/or bordering creeks and rivers, she’s also experienced with sales transactions in the cities of Scotts Valley and Santa Cruz, along the coast including the hills of Soquel and Aptos, and Watsonville.

After working for about a dozen years in the San Francisco Financial District, she’d fully realized her dream of analyzing and trading investments.  She’d become Vice President of a prominent mutual fund, responsible also for SEC Compliance.  While she found it exhilarating to trade tens of millions of dollars any given morning, at the end of the day, she felt like she’d had little meaningful impact on anyone’s life.   She began to think of it as working in an ivory tower…electronically moving funds around the world.     As that career lost its meaning, she decided to transfer those research and negotiating skills to the rewarding work of selling homes.    Prior to joining eXp Realty, MC worked for several years in Sonoma County, as a licensed real estate assistant.
